FIFA 18 Ultimate Team's ‘exploit’ Gives You Thousands of Free Coins
The FIFA 18 Ultimate Team ‘exploit’ may bring a new mode into disrepute.
This year, EA Sports released FUT Squad Battles, which watches you play AI controlled teams for FIFA Coins.
At the end of the week, your rewards will depend on where you finish - and if you win a load of games, this will be quite impressive.
If you play in the toughest setting, Ultimate, you will get even bigger prizes.
It's good until now.
But as Eurogamer reports, there is an ‘exploit’ that basically allows players to trick the computers into giving you free money.
Gamers noticed that if there are a few bronze players in your team – and shield the ball with them – the AI will commit a foul when trying to dispossess them.
In theory, all you have to do is keep doing this and get the players sent away - making it far easier to win the game.
Do not know why this is valid, but - in Ultimate difficulty - the AI is super positive and more likely to lunge in.
The ‘exploit’ has spread far and wide throughout the community - with YouTube tutorials and demonstrations readily available.
Fans are not sure whether EA will ban this trick - but it certainly seems to give some players a huge advantage.
On the other hand, the high price of FIFA coins is a genius way of system games - which is, currently – within EA rules.
